FoldMark makes a foldable instant-read meat thermometer for home cooks and weekend grillers—steady reads, a backlit display, Hold, home calibration, and a hang hole for parking. It is not positioned as a pro-lab instrument, and we do not borrow trademarked competitor names or silhouettes.

Expect a stable reading in about 2–3 seconds. Wait for the number to settle rather than the first flicker. Final timing is confirmed after sample review—we do not advertise unverified one-second claims.

Hold locks the reading so you can step away from grill heat to read the display. Easy calibration (when enabled on the unit) lets you nudge the reading after an ice-bath check for home confidence—not a certified lab calibration.

Treat it as splash-resistant: rinse the probe under the tap and wipe the body. Do not soak overnight or run the body through a dishwasher. We do not publish an IP rating until the production sample is verified.

The thermometer ships with a battery and a meat-temperature reference card (steak, poultry, pork, ground beef). The protective probe sleeve is optional ($7.99) for drawer and tote storage—not heat shielding on the grill.

No. We do not claim third-party lab accreditation or invent seals. Use the ice-bath / boiling-water self-check for home confidence only.

No. The hero unit is an instant-read folding thermometer you insert to check temp, then remove. A phase-two leave-in style may come later as a separate product.

Checkout currently runs in Stripe test mode so you can walk the flow. No live charges or shipments yet. When we go live, the test-mode note will be removed and a live Stripe key will be configured separately.

Launch focus is the United States (China→US parcels). Planned rates: $7.99 when the cart includes a thermometer, $4.99 accessories-only, free at $59+ subtotal. Typical door-to-door once live: about 7–18 business days after carrier handoff. International shipping is not promised on this preview.

Planned 30-day returns on unused items in original packaging once fulfillment is live. Buyer pays return shipping unless we shipped wrong or the item is defective. Test checkouts create nothing to return. See the Returns page for details.

Taxes are calculated at checkout based on your shipping address when live. Until then, totals in test mode are estimates for the shopping experience only.

Rinse the probe tip under running water; wipe the body with a soft damp cloth; dry before folding. Do not soak overnight. Do not dishwasher the electronics body. Final care sheet ships with the production unit.

Yes—use an ice bath near 32°F / 0°C and the unit’s calibration control if present. At sea level, boiling water is near 212°F / 100°C (adjust for altitude). See the how-to-use guide. Not a certified lab calibration.

Optional. The sleeve covers the folded probe tip in a drawer, tote, or grill bag so the tip stays protected between cooks. It is for storage—not heat shielding on the grill.
