Instant-read · Folding probe
$42
A fast, honest instant-read thermometer for steaks, chicken, and everything in between — with a big backlit display and a probe that folds away.
Built for steaks, chicken, turkey, pork, and everyday kitchen checks—not a pro-lab pitch. Fold the probe away when you are done.
Premium instant-read without the premium brand price: wait for a steady number (about 2–3 seconds), lock it with Hold when you need to step away from the heat, and hang the unit by the hole when you’re done. We don’t borrow famous brand names or invent a different tool shape—what you see is the folding thermometer we ship.
Specs reflect the intended production unit. We do not invent lab seals, wireless features, or IP ratings that samples have not verified.
1 foldable instant-read thermometer · battery included · meat-temperature reference card (steak, poultry, pork, ground beef). Protective probe sleeve sold separately ($7.99).
Free US shipping on orders over $59; otherwise $7.99 when the cart includes a thermometer and $4.99 for accessories only. Typical China→US delivery is about 7–18 business days after handoff once fulfillment is live.
Unused items in original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Buyer pays return shipping unless we shipped the wrong item or the unit is defective. Checkout on this preview runs in Stripe test mode—no live charges or parcels yet.
Wipe the body with a soft damp cloth. Rinse the probe tip under running water after each cook; dry fully before folding. Do not soak overnight, submerge the electronics, or put the body in a dishwasher. Optional protective sleeve is for storage only—not heat shielding on the grill. We describe splash-care rinse honestly; we do not publish an IP waterproof rating until a production sample is verified.
Tip: an ice-bath self-check (near 32°F / 0°C) builds confidence at home. It is not a certified lab calibration. See the calibration guide, cleaning guide, instant-read vs leave-in, and grilling spot-checks.

Honest speed
Not a one-second gimmick. Wait for a settled number so the temp you pull is the temp in the middle.

Readable anywhere
Large backlight for day or dusk. Hold locks the reading so you can step away from the heat.

Always within reach
Probe folds into the body. Hang hole (bottle-opener loop on this SKU) keeps it off the cutting board.
Versus the analog dial still in most drawers—practical differences, not lab theater.
US shipping
Free over $59. Else $7.99 with a thermometer. Typical 7–18 business days once live. Details

Honest care
Splash-care rinse on the probe; wipe the body. No unverified IP waterproof claim.
Expect a stable number in about 2–3 seconds. Wait for the display to settle rather than trusting the first flicker—that’s how you hit the temperature you’re actually aiming for. We do not advertise unverified one-second claims.
No. It’s an instant-read thermometer for spot checks: insert, read, remove. Leaving the body in an oven or closed grill will damage it. A separate leave-in style may arrive later as its own product.
Treat it as splash-resistant. Rinse the probe under the tap and wipe the body. Don’t submerge it, soak it overnight, or put it in the dishwasher. We do not publish an IP waterproof rating until a production sample is verified.
Ice bath: pack crushed ice with a little water, insert the tip without touching the container, wait near 32°F / 0°C. Use the unit’s calibration control if needed. At sea level, boiling water is near 212°F / 100°C (adjust for altitude). These are home confidence checks—not third-party lab accreditation.
Foldable thermometer, battery, and a meat-temperature reference card. The protective probe sleeve is an optional $7.99 add-on for drawer and tote storage—not heat shielding on the grill.
Basics
Fold open, probe the thickest part, wait ~2–3s for a stable number, use Hold away from heat, then rest and recheck—plus an ice-bath self-check you can do at home.
